Child Safe Training and Consultancy

Child Safety is a vital part of any successful child-related organisation in Australia. Abuse and harm to children is an unfortunate and pervasive reality in society. It is therefore vital that organisations operating around children are sufficiently trained and equipped to keep children safe and manage unsafe situations. Matt Sibley Training and Consulting focuses on practical, actionable support and training that makes it easy for you to meet your legal obligations and harness the benefits of a child safe approach.

We work with public sector entities, not-for-profits, and private businesses to enhance child safe practices. We can simplify things for you. Child safety is too often presented as a chore that gets in the way of operations- we will show not only how to be compliant with your legal requirements, but also how child safety can enhance experiences for customers and employees alike. Child safety can be an opportunity to enhance your organisation, protect your staff, and ensure that children in your care are safe.

Policies are the guardrails and guides that we use to keep environments and activities child safe. Policies need to be clear, concise, and specific to your organisation. We can help you develop effective policies that help keep children, staff, and your organisation safe.

While it is ideal to implement measures to prevent a child safety incident, no strategy is fullproof. If you find yourself managing a child safe incident, we can support you through the process. We can also review incidents to identify strategies to improve future prevention measures.
